Mrs. Arlene Carlyle
Mrs. Arlene Viktora Carlyle, age 90, resident of Horatio, Arkansas, passed from this life on Friday, June 16, 2023, in Tyler, Texas.

Arlene was the only child born to Joseph and Marie Suda Viktora on October 25, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois. She married the love of her life, James Norris Carlyle, on October 1, 1949, in Chicago. To this union, two sons were born. She worked a short time for Baldwin Piano Company in De Queen but spent the most of her time as a Homemaker, raising her family. Arlene attended church at the Apostolic Lighthouse in Texarkana, Arkansas and was a long-time member of Extension Homemakers. She enjoyed going to yard sales and antique jewelry, but best spent her time with her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of over forty-two years, James Carlyle; and a grandson, Alan Carlyle.

Arlene leaves to cherish her memory, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dale and Carol Carlyle of De Queen, and Mark Carlyle of Horatio; six grandchildren, Aaron Carlyle, Clint Carlyle, Angela Carlyle Max, Cody (Amy) Carlyle, Jack Carlyle, and James (Mallory) Carlyle; three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Higgins, Kaden Carlyle, and Evie Carlyle; as well as other relatives and a host of friends.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Arlene Carlyle will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, June 19, 2023, at Clear Creek Cemetery in Horatio. Bro. Cody Carlyle to officiate. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Chandler Funeral Home of De Queen. You may leave a condolence online at www.chandlerfuneral.com.
