Anna Lorene Presley went to be with her Savior in glory on August 14th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Joseph William and Nola Vera Pate Fair on August 15, 1949, in Mena, Arkansas.

Lorene is a 1967 graduate of Van Cove High School. She started working in her grandparents' chicken houses in her youth in Cove, AR, and later at Alf's clothing factory in Mena, AR. She lived in Colorado for a number of years where she was a bus driver, before returning to her roots in Arkansas. In De Queen, she held jobs at Kerr McGee, Sonic, Brookwood Nursing Home, Piggly Wiggly, and Harvest Foods, before spending 27 years working at Walmart, where she brightened the lives of customers and coworkers alike.

Lorene was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of God in De Queen. She was the epitome of a godly woman, always caring for and loving others more than herself. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother (lovingly called "Nana"). She was devoted to her husband, JL, who was her sweetheart for 41 years. She cultivated a life full of love and memories for her children and grandchildren. She loved spending many hours in her kitchen, teaching her family the joys of chocolate, and baking for family and friends – never missing any opportunity to point each of them to Jesus. She was a hard worker in every way, including being a servant to her Heavenly Father – not because of any merit she might receive but because she truly loved the Lord and wanted everyone to know Him, too. Her sweetness lives on in the loving legacy passed on through three generations of children who were blessed by having her in their lives. She loved reading her bible, listening to Gospel music, and most especially spending time with the grands and cooking for everyone.

She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Joyce Spencer and Ruth Milligan; two brothers, Floyd Fair and Donnie Fair; mother-in-law, Clara Eslee Presley; father-in-law, Milton Presley; a son-in-law, Stevie Crawford; two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Spencer and Gary Milligan; and a sister-in-law, Ida Lou Fair.

Lorene is survived by her husband, JL Presley of De Queen, AR; her three children, Terrie Crawford of Winthrop, AR, Larry (Melanie) Cook of Texarkana, AR, and Waylan Cook of De Queen, AR; seven grandchildren, Caleb (Cora) Crawford, Kaytlynn (Keith) Franklin, Carley (Randy) Ward, Kaleigh (Santos) Gonzalez, Justin Short, Chelsy Pugh, and Hunter Threet; fourteen great-grandchildren, Byron, Foster, and Nolan Crawford, Raelyn and Nathan Ward, Micah, Levi, Ryder, Remington, and Hadley Threet, Nikolas and Liliana Short, Nova and baby boy Pugh; two sisters-in-law, April Presley and Kathy Lowe. Her siblings' children, whom she loved as her own: Chris Fair, Carl Fair, Candy Meacham, LaVelle Krudwig, Kenny Spencer, Marsha Henson, Maria Miller, Tamara Stark and Julie Owen, as well as many special nieces, nephews, dear cousins, church members, and a host of friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the First Pentecostal Church of God in De Queen with Carl Fair and JD Copp officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the church. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home in De Queen.
