Mr. Althon Adair, Jr.
Mr. Althon Huel Adair Jr., age 69, resident of El Dorado, Arkansas, died Friday, September 2nd, 2022, at his home.

He was born June 9th, 1953, at Orange Memorial Hospital, Orange Texas. Born to Althon Huel Adair Sr. and Freda Jo (Parks) Adair. He served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Arkansas Army National Guard and the Army Reserve, 39th Infantry Brigade. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He worked as a manager of Wal-Mart for over 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Alana Faye Wisenhunt; his son, Gabriel Keith Adair; and his ex-wife, Vivian Kathleen Adair.

He is survived by his sisters Pam Elrod and husband Richard, of Hallsville, Texas, and Lisa Wray of Lockesburg, Arkansas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Phillip Smith of El Dorado, Arkansas, and Britteny and Greg Britton of Texarkana, Texas; one son, Benjamin Corey Adair of Fayetteville, Arkansas; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

Funeral Services for Mr. Althon Adair, Jr. will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 10, 2022, in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Bobby Tatum officiating. Interment will follow at Mineral Cemetery in Gillham. The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M., until service time Saturday, at the funeral home.
