Mrs. Alice Emmaline Youngblood Parks, age 96, a resident of Houston, Texas, died Sunday, November 13, 2016 at her home. She was born to William Jerry and Lillian Louise Rasmon Youngblood in Gillham, Arkansas, on January 5, 1920. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of De Queen and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 58 years, George (Pat) Parks, Sr., her siblings, Robert Youngblood, Fred Youngblood, John Youngblood, Will Youngblood, Charles Youngblood, Mary Butler, Elsie Powell, and Bess Fitch. She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, George Parks, Jr of Dickinson, Texas, and John E. Parks of Groesbeck, Texas, two daughters and a son-in-law, Judy C. and Jerry Stem of Houston, Texas, and Susan L. Ragle of De Queen, nine grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Marjorie Carpenter of De Queen, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Mrs. Alice Parks will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 16th in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Don Youngblood officiating.
