Obituary

Mr. Abe Frachiseur

Mr. Orval Aberham (Abe) Frachiseur, age 87, resident of Grannis, passed from this life on Monday, November 18, 2019 at his home surrounded by family.

He was born to Jim and Donna Susana Maddox Frachiseur on April 29, 1932 in Grannis. He attended school at Holly Grove and graduated from Gillham High School around 1949. He married the love of his life, Leona Smith, on August 11, 1951 in Mena. To this union, four sons were born. Abe proudly served his country with the U.S. Army, worked as a truck driver and was a Baptist. He enjoyed singing, hunting and fishing, but most of all, he cherished the time spent with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers, Nath, Johnny, Oscar, Roy, Bob, Math and Jimmie Frachiseur; and one grandson, Jeremy Frachiseur.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and faithful wife of 68 years, Leona Frachiseur of Grannis; four sons and daughters-in-law, Orval and Barbara Frachiseur of Grannis, Randy and Linda Frachiseur of De Queen, Mark and Sheila Frachiseur of Grannis, and Gary and Amber Frachiseur of Falls Chapel; twelve grandchildren, Cindi Sawyer (Scott), Amanda Williams (Danny), Brad Frachiseur (Kasey), Kevin Frachiseur (Amanda), Brandon Frachiseur, Stephanie Jenkins, Jared Frachiseur (Montana), Colby Frachiseur, Kaci Helms (Eric), Jamie Vandiver, Dylan Frachiseur and Andrew Frachiseur; one granddaughter-in-law, Katrina Frachiseur; 29 great-granchildren; as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

In the days following Mr. Frachiseur's passing, the family mourns the loss of his loving and faithful wife, Mrs. Leona Frachiseur, on Friday, November 22, 2019.
