Mrs. Shirley Ann Broussard Davis, age 73, a resident of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, died Saturday, April 28, 2012, in the De Queen Medical Center.
She was born to Duvale and Louise Istre Broussard in Mermautau, Louisiana, on February 7, 1939. She was a homemaker, a Baptist, and enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping, and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Bonita Trahan, a daughter, Neva Gail Brown, and her husband, Leonard Davis.
She is survived by a son, Bobby Vickers of Bogata, Texas, a daughter, Debbie Brizendine of Broken Bow, Okla., her step-children, Alvin Davis, Steve Davis, and Peggy Ann Davis, a sister, Betty Turner of Lumberton, Texas, 11 grandchildren, Angela, Gail, Jessica, Michael, Cassidy, Wyatt, Rhonda, Jeffrey, Sara, Benji, and Russell, nineteen great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews, as well as other family members.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Ann Davis will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 30th in the Horatio Cemetery, with Rev. Jerry McCoy officiating, under the direction of Chandler Funeral Home, De Queen. The family will receive friends at Chandler Funeral Home On Sunday, April 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
