Mr. Bobby Lawrence “Butch” Dinger, age 75, a resident of Lockesburg, died Thursday, April 19th in the De Queen Medical Center, De Queen.
He was born to Jessie Lawrence and Eula Beatrice Smith Dinger at De Queen, Arkansas, on July 10, 1936. He was a retired gun smith, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and guns. He loved all animals, especially his dog, Chili.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Peggy Deer, Evelyn Hill, and Frank Dinger.
He is survived by his wife, Linda J. Sisk Dinger of Lockesburg; three daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy “Dottie” and James Sellers of Gillham, Melissa and Rick Williams and Rachel Dinger all of Joplin, Missouri; three grandchildren, Erica Lynn Sellers and James “J. T.” Sellers of Gillham, and Emma Williams of Joplin, Missouri, two brothers, Billy Dinger of Lockesburg, and Jackie Dinger of De Queen, three sisters, Jeanine Nickerson and Marty Munoz both of Horatio, and Helen McGallard of Gurdon, Arkansas.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Bobby Dinger will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 22nd In the Sweet Home Cemetery with Rev. Rich Lugo officiating. The family will receive friends at Chandler Funeral Home on Saturday, April 21st from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
